I believe that having an open forum for advice would greatly benefit new managers, (such as myself) and possibly share some insight and unique experience with some of the more veteran managers. The times are changing and I believe that as the world turns managers need to be able to aptly prepare both themselves and their staff for moving into the future. What better way to do this than by sharing ideas and support with each other. No matter which office you are in we are all batting for the same team, the Sundance Vacations team! David and I were in Shamokin on Saturday and we were talking about the intranet and we thought that it would be cool to a employee spotlight section. We do not have an implementation date as of yet as we are working on quite a few projects. We are hoping to release as soon as possible. Next Thursday and Friday I will be in Manchester, New Hampshire representing the IT staff to get a crash course on how to get the most out of Joomla!. It would list anyone not in the office for the day due to absence, vacation, or even if they are attending a work related event. I think this site will be a powerful tool to keep all employees updated and aware of everything going on within the company.
