Princeton Supports Local Basketball Team
The Princeton Office of Sundance Vacations came across a local church in need, The Lion of Judah out of Trenton, New Jersey. They wanted to keep the local children off the street during the summer and away from the gangs and drug activity. Solution: Start a basketball team! The problem in this economically challenged area? No shirts, no sneakers, no gym and sadly, no hope.
Sundance stepped up and provided all of the above plus a generous donation, kicking off the season with a free throw contest and trophy’s on 07/07/07.
Bob DeBord and Ed Coppinger Sr. worked tirelessly to put the event together. Sarah Jarvie, Margot Anglart and Alice Walinski assisted to make the day a fun event.
The thank you’s and smiles of the kids made us happy to share with them in their time of need and reminded us to be grateful for all that we have. Also, a thank you to Shane Lewis for his coordination and support.

I am very happy to hear of yet another success by Sundance Vacations of turning around a town with some time, talent, and treasure. Well done to the Princeton Office! I am, yet again, very proud to be a part of Sundance Vacations!
Great job Sundance!! It is fantastic to see such dedication in helping the youth of the community to have something to be a part of. It is a great feeling to be a part of a team, whether it’s a sports team, a club, or even just being part of a team at work. Glad to have you guys on our team!! Keep us posted of the team’s success.
Good luck to the basketball team. I think the Princeton office is awesome for doing this. I think it will make a difference in alot of the kids. Even if it keeps one kid off the street it will be worth it.
Congratulations to the Princeton office. Community involvement is a priority for Sundance Vacations and that is one of the many reasons that I love to work for our company. It is important to make sure that we support the community that supports us. It makes me proud that I can tell people that I work for a company that does just that.
When I was younger, basketball leagues were something that I spent a lot of time doing. I am glad to see that the Princeton team has made a team for local kids!!
