Happy Memorial Day
I just wanted to say have a safe and happy Memorial Day to everyone.
Say a prayer for all the soldiers still fighting for our freedom.
I Stand Before You
I stand before you all today
But not one eye can see my way
My time arrived, to leave this earth
A fact so planned, to every birth
It happened where I had to go
My torch for life was so aglow
I transferred while in uniform
Protecting freedom, through a storm
Should I resent I died for you
Not on my life, red white and blue
Please help my family through each day
Tell all my friends, try not to stray
And of the country I did love
Do think of me, through God above
Your memories, brought forth this day
Send love to us, who could not stay

Angela, thank you for the poem. Thank you Roger for reminding us that Memorial Day is not just another day off of work and a reason to have a cookout in the back yard. There are many soldiers we owe thanks to for fighting for our freedom in the past, present, and also those who will serve in the future. Please be sure to take sometime out of your busy day and say a prayer for those who have fought, are fighting and will continue to fight for our freedom!! Happy Memorial Day to all.
That was a very sweet poem. Thank you to all of those who have fought for our freedom. Happy Memorial Day to everybody. Be safe and enjoy the weekend.
That is a very touching poem. I pray for them all the time. I also pray for their families. I would like to add that we should also remember our loved ones as well.
That is a beautiful poem. Now is time to reflect and thank all of those who have and who will fight for our freedom. My brother will be departed in July to Iraq for his second tour. Please keep him in your prayers and hope that he comes home safely. God Bless ALL our troops.
What Memorial Day Means To Me…
I hope everyone has a safe Memorial Day weekend. A lot of people say happy Memorial Day. Think about it. Memorial Day is anything but happy. We are remembering our military men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice. We also remember family and friends that have passed on. So while you are having picnics and parties this weekend, Please don’t forget the real meaning of this holiday. Also, say a prayer for the families of our fallen soldiers.

That poem really does show the true meaning of Memorial Day, not only a day to remember soldiers who have passed, but also family members who have passed away. Not only should we think of and remember these people on Memorial Day, but every day.
Wow, that was an awesome piece…very inspiring and makes a person want to inquire as to their portion in life.
not often do we see so deep into ourselves, but sometimes, we see when a candle is lit…and this poem was such a candle…every light that shines the way, sheds away the dark of quiet or despair…preach on the inspiration!!!!

This poem is beautiful, and we all need to be reminded to keep the soldiers in our prayers. I have a good friend serving in Iraq currently, and one who was recently seriously injured while on duty- please keep him in your prayers!!!
An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!
