Sunterra’s Powhatan Plantation

We recently tried one of TAN’s new properties in Williamsburg, Virginia. Sunterra’s Powhatan Plantation. We could not believe how spring had sprung so early in Virginia. The resort was absolutely beautiful, built around an original plantation home, but has all of the modern conveniences. The recreation center was great; it had an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, restaurant and racquetball courts.

The property is located just 10 mins from Jamestown Island and 15 mins from Colonial Williamsburg. We all learned a lot about the colonial days and the local restaurants were amazing.  We will defiantly plan a return trip.

Colonial Crossings

We just returned from our most recent TAN (Sundance Vacations)vacation at Colonial Crossings in Williamsburg, VA.  What a wonderful experience we had!  The property is fairly new with additions still under construction.  Although it was not swimming weather we sat at the pool which looked beautiful.  There is also a separate kiddy pool as well as a play area for children.
The property is located close to shopping outlets and a short 10 minute car ride to nearby Colonial Williamsburg.  There are many nearby restaurants in all price ranges.
The unit that we stayed in was 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (a whirlpool tub) with a fireplace and private terrace.  We enjoyed a full dining room table and separate well appointed living room.  The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we might have needed including a dishwasher and washer dryer.  The unit was immaculate in every detail and we were proud to have another couple with us to share this experience.
We would definitely recommend this property to others  since the unit is very well maintained and the area has a great deal to offer, extensive outlet shopping and touring for all ages.
