On Wednesday August 25, 2010, Sundance Vacations presented the latest Sundance Vacations giveaway grand prize to Gina Fish and her family of East Stroudsburg with a VIP New York Yankees Stadium tour and gift package.  Gina Fish, who was accompanied by her family, was presented with the prize on the third base line at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees PNC Field in Moosic, PA just before the Yankees took on the Rochester Red Wings.

The prize that Gina won includes the VIP New York Yankees Stadium tour to take place this Saturday, four tickets to see the New York Yankees play the Toronto Blue Jays on September 5^th in New York City, five New York Yankees hats, five New York Yankees t-shirts, two New York Yankees autographed baseballs by Curtis Granderson and Nick Swisher, a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre autographed baseball bat by the entire team and other New York and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees goodies.

After the presentation, Gina and her family took to their seats right behind home plate to watch the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees beat the Rochester Red Wings 3-2.

Festa Italiana takes off this week on July 15th with three days of a fun filled celebration. The event is the largest Italian-American festival in America hosting many different concerts on 8 stages, 40 different food vendors and 18 amusement rides throughout Milwaukee’s Lakefront Festival Grounds.  To top it off famous jazz trumpeter Chris Botti as well as Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons headline the festival.

Along with the festivities, Sundance Vacations will also be there sponsoring a raffle with two chances to win. The winning tickets for three great prizes will be drawn after the fireworks on closing night at the Miller Lite Stage. If that wasn’t good enough, everyone who enters the raffle will be re-entered into a second drawing occurring at the end of the year, in which the winner will receive a 2011 Mercedes Benz automobile or $50,000 cash.

The three prizes people can win on the closing night include:

1st:  An Italian-manufactured Vespa S50 Sport scooter. This prize is courtesy of Reina International Auto/Vespa Milwaukee (Joe, Ignazio and Lorenzo Reina).

2nd: A man’s 14-karat yellow gold ring, set with a 1.00-carat champagne round diamond provided by Ted Glorioso of Glorioso’s Gold Imports & Diamond Center.

3rd: Roundtrip airfare for two to any destination where Frontier Airlines travels courtesy of Frontier Airlines.

Festa Italiana

Last Friday, May 21st, Sundance Vacations hit the golf course as the presenting sponsor for the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association Golf Tournament. The golf tournament was held at Mountain Laurel Golf Club in White Haven and was followed by a cocktail hour and dinner. All proceeds benefited Wyoming Valley Children’s Association endowment fund, which is used to fund services to the children, promote ongoing staff development and training, and maintain the operation of their new facility.

Sundance Vacations will send two fans to a Toby Keith concert on September 17^th at Aarons Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

Charles and Mary Reinwald from Hallstead, Pa were randomly picked among hundreds of fans who turned out for the Toby Keith concert at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Moosic, Pa on September 5^th. Sundance Vacations gave away two free VIP tickets to the Toby Keith concert in Atlanta Georgia. Along with the tickets, the company also gave the winners airfare for two, hotel accommodations, and two backstage meet and greet passes pre concert.“We’re very excited for our Toby Keith concert courtesy of Sundance Vacations. I can’t believe we won,” said Mary Reinwald. “If people think this is a scam, they better start believing. I thought I had a snowballs chance, and we won. Sundance Vacations is an outstanding company,” added Charles Reinwald.

The Reinwald’s are huge Toby Keith fans, and sound anxious to attend the concert in Atlanta. Sundance Vacations is proud to send them and we hope they have a great time!

Sundance Vacations is proud to announce a 2^nd year partnership with Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor in Jackson, New Jersey.

The company anticipates a busy season with the amusement park and Hurricane Harbor’s water park. Sundance Vacations representatives will be there until early November. Six Flags Great Adventure’s main attraction this year is Bizzaro. The surreal coaster is accompanied by fog, fiery flame effects, and heart-pumping audio. Sounds Scary!  Would you dare?

Sundance Vacations cheers on the Phillies as they begin their 2009 season! The company supported the Phillies during their 2008 season, and routed for the Philadelphia baseball team all the way to the World Series!

Sundance Vacations officials were excited to jump on board with the Philadelphia Phillies again this year. “Sundance Vacations couldn’t be happier to support the World Series Champions in a second season. The Phillies are a great team, and I think it’s safe to say that we’re all “Phillies Phanatics” here at Sundance Vacations,” said Director of Marketing Chip Kilby.

The company is looking forward to another championship season with the Philadelphia Phillies. Sundance representatives can be found at Citizens Bank Park all season.

Sundance Vacations recently gave away a free vacation to a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins fan during the Calder Cup game at the Wachovia Arena on April 19^th.
 
Robert Janov was randomly picked among hundreds of fans who turned out for Sunday’s “white out” game. The free vacation was a fan appreciation giveaway. Sundance Vacations gave the lucky fan one free week of vacation to the destination of his choice. “I am thrilled. I was just sitting here watching the game, and surprise, I won a free vacation,” said Janov.

You’ve heard correctly. Sundance Vacations now sponsors a speedway! Mountain Speedway of St. Johns, PA will be renamed Sundance Vacations Speedway as a result of a sponsorship agreement.
   
Sundance Vacations’ three year sponsorship agreement includes exclusive naming rights to the track. The Sundance Vacations speedway hosts weekly racing action from April until November. Race teams come from a several state radius to compete on the 1/3 mile asphalt oval near Hazleton. The company will also add $5,000 in prize money for the drivers who compete at Sundance Vacations Speedway. All winners who carry the Sundance Vacations contingency sticker on their race cars and mention the company on their website are eligible for the extra prize money from the track sponsor.“We’re excited about getting re-involved with racing,” said Sundance Vacations President John Dowd.  “Fan loyalty for sponsors isn’t just a phenomenon reserved exclusively for NASCAR.  Local race fans and racers are the real everyday people that our travel program is built for.  This track sponsorship is an additional opportunity for Sundance Vacations to introduce its brand, not just to local attendees but to Google searchers everywhere.”
