It’s time to vote! We have selected the finalists for our Mother’s Day cruise giveaway contest on Facebook. Visit our Fan Page now through May 5 to decide which contestant should win a free cruise.

Voting is easy:

1. Become a fan of Sundance Vacations (www.Facebook.com/SundanceVacations);

2. Visit our “Cruise Giveaway” Tab;

3. Select your favorite finalist;

4. Vote by clicking “like” below each contestant’s photo;

5. Let your friends know you voted and wait to see if your finalist wins!

As you may know, we recently launched the Sundance Vacations Cruise Giveaway Contest on Facebook – a series of six free cruise giveaways to the Bahamas and Mexico. The contest is a chance to reward individuals in your community who deserve an escape. Each month, we will award two winners selected by our Facebook fan community with a free cruise vacation.

Each of the cruise giveaways will have its own theme based on upcoming holidays. For example, the current cruise giveaway is themed for Mother’s Day, while the first cruise giveaway celebrated Spring Break. The other contests include Teachers and Nurses Appreciation, Armed Forces and Coast Guard Appreciation, and Father’s Day. Today we announced that Mark Stobodzian of Scranton, Pennsylvania won a free cruise in the Sundance Vacations’ Spring Break Cruise Giveaway contest. The Spring Break Cruise Giveaway is part of our series of contests to give away six free cruises between April and June to Sundance Vacations’ Facebook Fans.

“We are shocked and so very excited to have won Sundance Vacations’ Cruise Giveaway contest. Mark has been through a lot these past few years and truly deserves a relaxing vacation,” said Cheryl Stobodzian, Mark’s wife. “Thanks to Sundance Vacations we will be able to take our first vacation in ten years! We couldn’t be more thrilled and thankful for such a wonderful opportunity.”

Mark was nominated by his wife Cheryl, whose admiration and unconditional love for her husband won the hearts of Sundance Vacations’ Facebook community. Mark has diabetes and has suffered numerous health issues over the years, including kidney failure. Luckily, Cheryl was a donor match, and Mark was able to have a kidney transplant in January 2009. To show his appreciation for his wife’s unfailing support, Mark also nominated Cheryl for Sundance Vacations’ Cruise Giveaway without her knowledge.

“Mark is a great example of someone who even in the face of adversity, shows tremendous courage, strength, and most of all, generosity,” said John Dowd, President of Sundance Vacations. “Sundance Vacations is happy to be able to give this amazing couple a free cruise where they can relax and share many valuable memories.”

Currently, our second giveaway in honor of Mother’s Day is underway. To nominate your mother, simply submit a photo and brief essay that explains why she should win on our Facebook Fan Page. Nominations close on April 28.

The first giveaway – to celebrate Spring Break – begins on April 1^st. If you know someone who could use a little sun and fun on the high seas to shake off their winter blues, join us on Facebook to nominate that person for a chance to win our cruise giveaway.

Nominating someone in the Sundance Vacations cruise giveaway is easy. Simply enter a family member, friend, colleague, or neighbor by submitting a photo along with a brief essay explaining why your nominee should win. You can do this on our “Cruise Giveaway” tab.

There will be a two-week submission period for each contest and Sundance Vacations’ Facebook fans will have one week to vote for the winner of each contest on the Facebook Fan Page.
