Sundance is Sponsoring Local Teams

On January 15, 2008, Sundance Vacations signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  The arena is managed by SMG, the world leader in entertainment and sports facilities management.  Over 600,000 people attend events at the arena annually.  Sundance is proud to support the local teams and the sponsorship helps the company to establish a strong community presence.  It is important to the Penguins and Pioneers because corporate sponorship helps them to field the most competitive teams as possible.

Are there any teams or events you think we should sponsor?  Or, do you have ideas on other ways the company can do business in your community?  Let us know.

Sundance Web-Site Scheduled for Renovation

Our society is depending more and more on technology and the Internet to find what they want.  Whether it’s information, goods or services, people are looking to the net to fulfill their needs. As an innovative and progressive company, Sundance Vacations wants to keep up with the times.  So, we have decided to re-vamp our website while keeping our target users in mind.  What kind of changes would you like to see on our website? What would you like to see stay the same?  Whether you are an employee, a client, or just browsing, we are really interested in your thoughts and ideas.

Eagles Nest Resort at Indian Point

This was our first trip with Sundance Vacations and TAN.  Airial_view_of_eagles_nest We couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations and the vacation.

The condo at Eagles Nest Resort at Indian Point was clean, large and well stocked with plenty of towels and dishes.  We could see Table Rock Lake from our deck and the Ozark Mountains are beautiful.  We were there the first week in November, the temperature was middle fifties to middle sixties and in the seven days we only had rain once. The resort was quiet and private, the perfect place to relax.  However, we were only 4 miles to downtown Branson.  With all the shows and activities and things to see, we had no time to relax.  The people in the office were helpful and pleasant, answering all our questions, and even directing us to some excellent restaurants.

We are looking forward to our next vacation with Sundance Vacations and TAN.

New Year’s Resolutions

Last year I resolved to try to leave my work at work and spend time enjoying my family and friends.  While I still find myself at the computer some Saturday’s, in 2007, I definitely worked hard at spending less time talking and thinking about work when I was at home with my family and spending time with my friends.

How about you? So you have any resolutions for the new year?  Want to make changes in your life, your work, or anything else?  Let me know what your resolutions are and how you are doing with them…

Sundance Clients Share Their Holiday Spirit

Brian and Kristine visited our King of Prussia location and became clients of Sundance Vacations on December 12, 2007; they met with Rhonda Fisher.  During their meeting, Rhonda was informed that Brian was with Cambell’s soup USA. Rhonda told them about the charity endeavors of our company and they thought it was great that we stay so involved in helping the community. A few days later, Brian and Kristine returned with their family and 5 cases of soup in tow! They asked that the soup be taken by our folks to the St John’s hospice in Philadelphia. We would like to thank Brian and Kristine again for their generosity and kindness. It is people like them who make coming to work such a positive experience.

What volunteer or charity work have you been involved in? Do you have any ideas or suggestions for charities that you think Sundance should participate in?

Whirlpools and Fireplaces

The Landmark Resort offers many amenities.   Our client, John Kastner sent us another comment about his recent vacation in Egg Harbor, WI.

"Just dropping you another line.  We stayed at the Landmark Resort in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin.  They sure have beautiful scenery and overlook the bay.  They have common area sitting rooms with fireplaces.  We sat by the fireplace and wrote out our Chrsitmas cards.  Each building has a hot whirlpool on the first floor.  Door County has always been fascinating.  So much to see.  We will go there again and again.

Sincerely, John Kastner"

The Tamarack Resort

My family and I had an oppotunity to use our Sundance Vacations program to stay in a 2 bedroom condo at the Tamarack Resort in Wisconsin Dells.  We were very impressed with the warmth and coziness we felt, it was truly a home away from home.

Not far from the condo was the activity center; we participated in activities such as: Card Bingo, Nature Walks, etc…  The staff was very nice and friendly-they assisted us with our every need.  The Tamarack Resort offered a free shuttle to the Ho Chuck Casino for a night of gambling.

This was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in a long time.  Ask us if we would do this again? Yes, yes, yes!

Thank you,                                                                                                 Geneva Harris and Family ~ Milwaukee, WI

Bayview Landing ~ Fenwick Island, Delaware

The Kastners visited our Brookfield, Wisconsin location and became Sundance Vacations clients in November of 2002.  After using 71 weeks of vacation (that’s right, 71 weeks!) they have become savvy and knowledgeable travelers who use their program and take advantage of the excess inventory specials.  Recently, Mr. Kastner sent in the following comment for our client blog…

"I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation at Bayview Landing on Fenwick Island.  The condo was more than I expected.  It was clean, roomy and beautifully furnished.  We found the area accessible to lots of good restaurants.  The boardwalk was interesting too.  We checked out an island park where they have wild horses running free.  We are looking forward to going back.

Thanks, John Kastner"
